The reluctant non-hero, with his fruit-faced friend and furry cougar, are forced out of Minneapolis via infestation of mutant mayonnaise. As a result, they move back to the artist's hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Originally printed as a "contact card" of sorts, this comic is the second in the Coffeestain Comicks world showing just how much of a distraction a talking pear can be while a recent college grad tries to find a job.

In the pear orchards of Medford, Oregon, a legend is born... or rather, grown. Fred finds his beginnings and travels across America to find the farmer who nearly picked him.
